The purpose of this policy is to ensure that BIS Matrimony operates responsibly and in compliance with Indian laws protecting children from early or forced marriage. Our goal is to maintain a safe, ethical, and lawful environment for all users.

BIS Matrimony strictly allows only those who meet the legal marriageable age criteria in India:

Women: 18 years or above
Men: 21 years or above

Any attempt to create a profile below these ages will result in immediate removal and suspension.

All members are required to submit accurate information during registration, including date of birth and valid ID proof. Our moderation team verifies profiles periodically to detect and prevent underage or fake registrations.

BIS Matrimony does not support, promote, or facilitate any form of child marriage. We fully adhere to the Prohibition of Child Marriage Act, 2006 and cooperate with authorities in cases where underage marriage is suspected or reported.

Users who suspect that a member is underage or violating child safety rules may report the profile via the “Report” option or by contacting our support team. Upon verification, BIS Matrimony will take strict action including suspension or permanent removal of the profile.

BIS Matrimony actively promotes awareness of legal marriage age and child protection rights through its digital channels. Our goal is to foster responsible matchmaking while encouraging social responsibility.
